what's specifically russian in this doll? it looks more like a japanese mecha. draw some red stars so we know for sure it's russian

there's one problem with that though. the chinese also have a red star as their communist symbol. it's just not portrayed the way it was with the russians. i'm thinking a hammer and sickle on one of the shoulder pads, to tell us it's russian. and maybe paint it up in a dark woodland green.

"paint it up in a dark woodland green" - good idea

what about wireframe red star with hammer and sickle inside? i think russian used it in early years after their revolution. or it was monolith red star with white circle inside and with hammer/sickle in the very middle?

indeed, and probably some dark grey camo patterns too. just something to differentiate it from chinese uniforms.

no, that sounds a bit big for the model itself. maybe it could be the base, so that people know that the model is russian, by looking at the paintjob and the base, but i don't think it would work as an armor emblem. the only plausible place i see that working is on the side skirts, and that just doesn't look right in hindsight. it is a good idea though. ambitious, but a good idea.

Hi - thanks a lot for posting this. I wonder - doesn't this printer need to print support structures for the parts that "overhang"? I can't see any signs of them...
