Título: JanissaryComisión hecha en enero del 2018 para un proyecto de Wargame ambientado alrededor del siglo XVI.
El guerrero de hoy es un jenízaro, el mítico cuerpo de élite del ejército del Imperio Otomano, fundados en torno al siglo XVI con la más moderna tecnología bélica turca.
Equipamiento:
-Vestimenta: La vestimenta del Jenízaro consistía en telas finas, anchas y coloridas, también ornamentos de oro pues esta unidad cumplía también un rol de transmisor de la cultura otomana, adiestrados no sólo en combate sino también en lenguas y diplomacia.
-Arma: Arcabuz, un tipo de arcabuz más pesado que sus similares occidentales y con mayor poder de fuego.
-Arma secundaria: Kilij, un sable curvado de una mano hecho para el combate cuerpo a cuerpo, aunque el abanico de armas del jenízaro incluía hachas y otros tipos de sable.
-Otros: Ketche, el emblemático tocado del jenízaro, que incluía una simbólica cuchara que representaba la hermandad y unión entre ellos y el sultán.

Nice image but there is a small flaw to it. The janizzary cap was white, the red one was for the cavalry recruited in the same way as the janizzaries who were the far better known infantry. Other parts of the kapikulu corps had other kinds of headgear, like a turban for the artillerists (topcu) and a "sock" cap for the sekban grenadiers.

Kilij is a Ottoman version of shamshir. The term shamshir is a arabic.

Ah, makes sense. I think it would have been comical to make a continuation as a PSA on gun posture. Or make the gun explode like a Ross rifle. òwó
