Description In the moment,
I was awakened,
Set ablaze,
And swirling,
Through the marvelous night sky.
I felt alive,
Invigorated,
And powerful.

My creator seems overjoyed about my existence,
And relaxes as he watches me,
He lets me grow,
And though I am glad,
I want more.

I run through the forest,
Leaving everything destroyed
And dead,
In the ashes.
I spread all over,
Until I am an inferno,
Of black,
Red,
And orange.

They call me fire.

umm...note to self: do not let alex near fire...it's a great poem and the personification of the fire is...lovely? i dont know. i really like it though. very well done. actually...as this is like my fifth time reading it [i never commented before...] i'm beginning to think i would have separated the last line from the stanza that it's in at the moment. sixth grade? wow, you've been talented for a while then. megan
