Watching the fire take hold of the abandoned house, I wiped the sweat from my brow in relief. It was finally over.Turning away, I paused mid-turn as my ears caught something. It had sounded like a terrible wheezing choke. Spinning in fear, I saw a dark shape emerge from the crackling flames. Powerful claws grasped at the ground pulling the still smouldering body on course towards where I was standing, my mouth agape. My heart sank, it wasn't over at all!
