i like the spaceship-thing behind him- it looks like a combination of a 1980's Toyota Supra and James Bond's Lotus (in submarine form)

Heh heh, reminds me of all that sci-fi artwork before George Lucas developed Star Wars.
As for Star Wars similarity, Khaos could be operating under the "Hero" mechanics system from Star Wars Battlefront II. He's probably been assigned to clear the enemy hangar so that friendly landing craft can deploy their troops to help finish off the enemy.

^___^ I can't speak too much as to the backstory since this was a commission and I was on a need-to-know basis, but I did have a lot of fun on it. I love space and sci-fi, yet I don't get a chance to do much with it.

Good times indeed!
Ahhh, those silly artists and their "busy lives"! What a joke, I say!

Hello hello!
Heheheh, the 'Taur's jeans are a special creation of Khaos, the commissioner on this piece, and his character is well known for them!
Thanks for your comments!

That is so cool, I just love the colour and movement, and those gun shot trails are sweet. Great work!

Hello there! ^__^ Sorry it took so long to reply, but thank you very much! I had a lot of fun working on this piece, and the bullet trails are also one of my favorite elements! ^__^
Thanks again!

I can't believe no one has commented on this yet...
This is the one on the VCL that really caught my eye. I love traditional media work, and I really like this one. I think the execution was well done, and I love the story it tells, even though you don't see the enemy the foxtaur is shooting at. A lot of emotion and movement. :>

Yay!! ~ It only took a few months to respond to your comment, but I deeply appreciate it nonetheless!
At the time of creation, this was one of my best pieces, and still remains as one of my favorites. This image was completed exactly as the commisisoner asked for it, and the nemesis remains unseen to allow this piece to have a broader scope of possibility. And as you already elduded to it, the first rule of Illustration is, "Involve the Audience" ^__^
Many thanks to you for your comments and time!
