This is just a quick test stuffing. Nothing has been mounted yet.
I'm still deciding whether or not to make my african civet pelt into a taxidermy plush, like what foxycreations, leopardpaws, etc. do, or just do a rigid mount (or have a taxidermist, who specializes in african small game, do it). Whatever I decide, I'm not going to do anything with this guy for awhile until I feel comfortable enough with my skills to tackle him. African Civet pelts are very hard to obtain if not near impossible, unless you're an african game hunter, and I'd hate myself forever if I screwed it up. I'll probably never be able to get another one in my lifetime x.x
I continue to thank for this beautiful boy <33 He is by far my most favorite pelt in my collection. I adore his sail of fur down his back.
African civets are smaller than I thought (mine is about the same size as a fox), and their fur is fairly coarse, but still nice to touch Not everyday you get to touch an animal from Africa (zoos aside)
