So what do we have here. We have Steins Gate's Kurisu, The Idolm@ster's Chihaya, Blazblue's Tsubaki, Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate's Morishta, KissxSis's Kiryuu-sensei. All of these characters are voiced by the same person, Imai Asami, (Mingosu). Most if not all are my favorite character in their respective shows.I worked pretty hard to draw all of this by hand. Wow did it take me long. It's hard for a person with no patients to stay on one thing for long.
I do know other characters but these are the more popular ones and drawing anymore would kill me

I've been an iM@S fan since 2007 or 2008 i think (I take pride in knowing about it before it was an anime although technically it had already been adapted twice.) so I had gotten really used to their voices. When I started watching Steins;Gate, and I heard Kurisu talk for the first time, I was like "Holy cow it's Chihaya!!". I had to pause and look it up on the spot.

I've been an im@s fan for slightly less than that but i do know just about everything about it. The same thing happened to me when watched Steins Gate. I was sitting there and then "Wait a second that Chihaya!" paused the show and looked it up right there xD It was right and I couldn't have been happier. I love Imai Asami

There is a specific Im@s thread everyday. Sometimes they go through 2 a day but there is always an Im@s thread. I don't really use 4chan because the people tend to be very idiotic, and not in a good way. They do have some good stuff coming out of that tread and it has a lot of translators so it's a hit or miss kind of thing.

Every day? Jeez. The anime really amped up iM@S's popularity, and not really in a way I appreciate. It seems like Yurika Ochiai has been forgotten and no one references Nonowa and Mikikuri or Tokachi anymore. The popularity and abundance has been helped but some of the culture has been lost.

Well seeing as Im@s 2 really raised the popularity of the series most people wouldn't know the first Yukiho. And if you follow Im@s now a days Azumi does a lot of Im@s related things leaving Yuika in the shadows... That's pretty much all I got for that subject.
I agree with the nonowa, mikikuri and tokachi thing seeing as I have no idea what tokachi is. I know the little naked Haruka thing and the Miki hair monster xD but the last one i have no clue.

Tokachi is a shortening of tokachitsukuchite which is Ami's mispronunciation of tokashi tsukushite which means "Melt me all the way." but when mispronounced the way Ami does sounds slightly naughtier. (It's supposed to be funny.)Tokashi tsukushite is one of the lines from Agent Yoru Wo Yuku, which was famously performed by Ami on Nico Nico Douga in a bizarre combination of items. Yeah I still don't know what it is or its importance... You're explanation gave me even less of on idea of what it is. Is it just a vocal tick. It's just how she pronounces something? Then again it's understandable why it's not well known in the Im@s fan base

The outfit and the nickname mostly. That outfit was really popular for a while and the twins were known as the Tokachi sisters or just Tokachi. There was a Nico Nico group called Tokachi Gold that would make remixes of their songs and the word Tokachi would just pop up around them alot. You know, it wasn't until I tried explaining it that I realized just how abstract it was.

That's one of the things I loved about iM@S. It was so simple, straightforward, and in a way limited, and yet the fans could always do so much more with it. Now that iM@S has branched out so much, it seems like the fans have ditched their creativity. They draw it like it is. It's realistic. I love Live In Slot because it brings that creative weirdness back.

It's a pachinko slot game in Japanese arcades so we aren't going to be able to play it without extensive travel. Basically, you line up images just like a slot game and depending on what combination you get, you get to watch a different iM@S skit or play a different stage.

Ok so that's exactly what I thought. I had read about it and show an even where Aki and Mingosu were advertising it but I didn't really get it. Seems it's as simple as i though but sounds like it's have some fun skits. I saw pictures of some which I would have love to see.
