An au where Tom is the exchange student from another dimension that’s staying with Marco. Everything is the same except Tom takes Star’s role, and they get into crazy adventures. Instead of calling it Tom vs. the Forces of Evil, I thought it would be fitting to call the au Tom is a Force of Evil. I would seriously love to write a script for an actual comic based on this, where Tom takes Star's role from the show. It would make a fun side-project from my webcomic!

Just started writing down a bunch of notes before I properly get started on making the script; mainly plot stuff that will make the writing process a little easier, and help figure out what could work.

Well, I'll need a few days to make a script, but what I've had in mind would be stuff that would do the original show justice; key events from the series would still happen (the Blood Moon Ball, Star moving to Earth but with someone else instead of Marco since he's already having to look after Tom, etc.), but I wouldn't want this to be just a retelling of the original show; Tom would essentially have his own friends and enemies that you otherwise may never see in vanilla SVTFOE.
Tomco would obviously happen at some point, but I wouldn't want this to be just fluff.
At the moment, I'm imagining what the very beginning would be like (basically, Tom gets into big trouble due to a chain reaction caused by his anger, and his parents, much like Star's, thinks he needs training before he takes on the responsibilities of the Underworld, so he's sent to Earth and is assigned to move in with Marco. Hilarity and chaos ensues.)
And if you're wondering where his room would be, I'd imagine it would be in the "basement", which the house never had one until then.

ahh i like the idea so far, the idea that Tom's anger gets out of hand, and Star isn't out of the picture. Don't know about the basement idea yet, he'd be real far away from Marco's room and for some reason i don't like that idea much. But yeah, sounds like you're full of ideas.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind hearing from you about some ideas. I just sent you a note of what I've written down so far. Hopefully we can talk about making this comic a reality; like I said, it would be a very fun project to tackle, and I'm sure a lot of people would really love to see something like this!

Yay! Brian could be there to be Tom's personified common sense, Star could be the ex-girlfriend/new friend who comes in to share in their adventures now and then and Happy Bunny can be cute.
