Interior of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, I believe. This is all the way towards the top, with some really pretty colors. This was easily my favorite lighthouse from the Outer Banks.Full size wallpaper is available for download! Enjoy

Currituck Light is my favorite as well. I love it not for what's on the inside, but the red brick exterior to me is very simple, yet beautiful.

very cool. I like the light against the brick wall and the contrast it creates with the black spiral stair. Look very cool too because the "opening" is a circle.

They tend to blend together a little for me, I went and visited most of them out in the OBX. This one really stood out, just because the interior felt so different from the rest! The color and texture had an awesome warm feeling to it that the other just didn't catch with their white interiors~

We only went and did a few in one day, but the ones that really stood out to me were the fire lookout towers-- AMAZING views! I actually live in NC, but I'm farther inland so it was still a treat

Took me a second too. It's a spiral staircase leading upwards. You're standing on the ground.

Yes! Definitely an upward shot. Though actually I was most of the way up the lighthouse at the time, so ground isn't -exactly- the term I would use~
