May I ask what type paper you use for watercolors. I was told Arches cotton paper was the best choice. I've been using Canon which is more in my price range.

For this one I used 190g Daler&Rowney, but I do have a selection of different grains and weights to experiment with techniques. I'm really not too fussy about my supplies, I think it's the artist and not the equip that makes the difference in the end...
