Description my second entry 's "Kimmie at the Movies" contest [link] since the deadline was extended for someone else who had computer troubles, i had time for a second idea

it was your phrasing; i think you dropped an apostrophe and a d.

I don't know if you were around in the 60's, but Fonda had a reputation for being aggressively anti-war to the point where she went to North Vietnam and posed with gunners who were shooting down American planes. She did this while gaining an Oscar and making loads of money from her films. Being against the war was one thing but sticking it in the face of people who were losing sons to death and wounds was another thing entirely. She gave a talk at a college I was attending back in '71 which was a leftist rant all the way through. The amusing thing about it was that many of the guys were there to see if she was going to have on something skimpy instead of the jeans and shirt she did wear.

i'm only nearly 24, if i had been around in the sixties it would have been some trick!
i have heard about her anti-'nam things, but never specifics. i can't really hold a grudge against her or her movies for that, not having experienced it.
