I don't know if this place could be in rural japan somewhere, but it feels like i could be standing on the straircase looking down on the kid and cat! this is a fantastic piece, i really enjoy the colours, which i noticed in all your works have this yellowish tint! I LOVE it, love it all. I have cats at home, and they're strays, but they come around my house cause we feed them yet they remain scared.
anyway this is beautiful!

this has a great immediate quality to it - but i think it'd look even better on a wall so you could step back and appreciate it at a distance!
the chosen angle also gives it a lot of life and movement - it'd be great to see it blown up onto an entire wall!

I truly love how much color is in each of your paintings! There's always a mix of emotions and feelings, all wrapped up into one image. I think that's why there are many interpretations of many of your pieces, different people pick up on those colors, those feelings, and go with them. At least, that's what I seem to do... I always know there is more to a painting than what I see, but I pick my road and go down it with my comment, and see where it takes me.
...Which is usually on a tangent, like that!!
I love how the light comes from that top right area, and washes down the street or alley there, onto the child, and onto the buildings, and even up the stairs! It just sort of flows down and onto the painting like a glow. The texture on the roofs/awnings there on the right is really neat!

It's so beautiful I could cry. How do you do it? You have a unique idea of perspective, and a brilliant impressionist use of colors. ...great composition as well. I could stare at your paintings for hours; you really should try to make a tutorial, or at least take some "work in progress" shots. I'd love to you see your process from start to finish.

Thanks for your comments again, you praised me too much lol! Re: how do I draw/paint, I really can't describe, it's a process of 'go with the flow of the energy'. Hence, I can never capture it in steps (tutorial) as that would kind of break the flow, for now at least.
