Every seven years a young Drakling comes of age and is ready to begin training for the right to become a guardian of the Royal Sovereigns Kingdom of Torat-tare. This season the training rights belong to Daimar, Belathars eldest son.Related content

Super job with the flames (I love the way they "bounce back" off the protection spell) and the glow of the crystal on the staff.

Goodness.. this looks like it should be on the cover of a fantasy novel! (is it?) I'm especially impressed by the barrier around the mage as well as the play of light and shadow over the entire piece -- very nice effect!

Man this is insane! you know my opinion about well-modeled dragons... +fav. Still, here not only the dragon is awesome. Especially the surrounding sets the mood and the blur makes you focus on them training. The mountains behind are unbelieavable.

This is absolutly AMAZING! you get better and better with each and every piece. the use of depth is outstanding here, with the blur and focus. The textures are perfectly executed, as is your use of colors. You've put together an amazing piece. Definately

Man Ken, this is about your best piece yet (and that is saying LOT). I really dig the dragon and the relation between the scene and the title is great. The dragons in the distance are a nice touch and the landscape is great.
A couple small things....
The perspective blur on some items seems a little reversed...Right under the castle on the left for instance, the shoreline is a little blurry, and the castle looks...odd. Not sure exactly sure what it is but it looks pasted in a bit. Not too noticable mind you, but just a little.
Superb work overall, and I really like that energy shield you have going on man.
How are you liking those CD's? I haven't been online for a while so i hadn't had a chance to see if you were getting any use of them (hope so!). I have some new Terragen stuff coming up man along with some web projects that I am working on at the moment. Also a couple of CD Brochures and such....whew. Busy busy busy....
Well, I better get off here man, i am at church right now and I need to get home so I can go to sleep (sleep? What's that?) hahahaha

great scene, except one thing: when I only scrol until that Daimar's feet are visible, it looks very good, but if I view the whole pic, I somehow get the impression that this is a "miniature scene", dunno, maybe it's the blur
