Now, before you read on, this stamp is not a force stamp. Other people found that this stamp [link] &/or this plz are demanding comments & how rude they are. Well they're not. They're a simple way of asking people to please leave a comment since most of them never get any comments (such as myself). But since those people don't wanna accept the facts on how it's not forcing, then they left me no other option but to make another stamp that sounds more polite.

A comment says more than a fave. Many people out there don't have any idea how frustrating it is to wake up, & see that your newest picture that you worked hours, days, weeks or even months on got over 30+ favorites & no comments on it. I myself work really hard on a picture, & barely anyone to no one comments. And I also see why others say getting comments sucks, because there are people out there who leave copy-paste comments such as "cool", "nice" & so on. But think about it, one comment or something like that is better than nothing.

Now onto faving. There are people out there saying "A fav is good enough" or "A fav is a compliment". Since when does a fav come by saying "OMG I really like how ______ looks, & the ___________makes it looks fantastic!" or "Looks really awesome! The_______turned out splendid, & I like how you______________to it. Wonderful job"? I don't see any of that in a fav (& I would also love to know what crack you people smoke s that I can see what a fave really says when they fave you works). In fact, I despise faves. You can see how much I hate a fave here [link] Since before I made that stamp, I've began ignoring the faves I get. When I look at the activity part of my messages, I just remove every fave & watch, not seeing what was faved or who faved it. I don't even go to the person's profile to say ""Thanks for the fav".

In fact, I really wish DA could do something about the faving factor. I wish they could allow a button that disables faves, & not allowing anyone to fave the deviation until they leave a decent comment on it. And if they'll try to outsmart that, they should allow a comment approval thing. Only allowing them to fave it finally after they leave a real decent comment that is not "cool" or "nice" or "cute" or etc. That'll shoe 'em.

I don't believe in forcing people to practise this. It should be a matter of choice and if you have nothing to say, then fine. Still, consider the thoughts of the artist you're viewing.

We know that not everyone is capable of leaving a constructive comment and often popular work is plagued with comments like 'cool', 'nice' and so on. It depends on the person, and some people will never change, but this stamp has already hit and changed quite a few people, who say they've felt better knowing they've made contact with the artists.

If you're too busy to leave a comment, then postpone the favourite until later. If you are the kind of person that favourites more than 10 things per day, then you're not using the system as it was intended. Favourites are a sign that you really like something, and should not be overused, or its value drops steeply.

Favourites are also not a way to seek attention for yourself - this is known as fave-bombing and is very selfish. Prove that you care by saying what you like about the piece. Critique and praise alike, comments are a form of human social interaction that favourites can never give. That's the kind of active community we want in deviantART

Now, after reading all of this, you still think this stamp is rude or forcing people to put comments, I am sorry, you (just like all the others who say the same thing) are an unappreciative imbecile who will bitch about anything related to commenting.

Also, almost forgot, if you really want comments, then join the group. This club is filled with many deviants who will guarantee comments on your deviations there. There are many people who have volunteered to comment, depending on what categories they've chosen to comment. I'm one of them. I'll comment any picture except for literature. Just send a note to me, I'll only comment 3-4 pics a week. But be patient also, it takes time. So, don't rush me if I haven't commented you pictures.
