It's Sion, been ages since I've drawn my beloved Red Panda. Not sure if I'll color this but thought I'd throw another one of my line art projects into DA so people can see that I am drawing. Nothing too special here, few new techniques, same ol' Panda. He's ready to brawl! Probably with my other character Vincent, they don't like each other much.Minor Update: I fixed his mouth, shoulder, bicept and parts of his clothing that were off. Cleaned the edges just because I was bored but not much else.

I really ike this picture. I Must say that you do a great job and one thing that stuck out, or rather didn't stick out, was the hands. Alot of artists like to do the 4 fingered hand, but few make it look like it is suposed to be that way.
Your hands don't look like they are missing anything. Great job and great pose. Thanks for sharing your talents.

Thank you very much. I've always waned to find a balance between "humans" and "animals" One way I do it is the four finger hands. Hands are something that have always given me trouble even to this day. I've slightly developed my own style over the years.

Did you intentionally make the shading darker in certain areas? It seems to bring out his arm very well and also add a sence of depth to the drawing. =3

I was pretty much self taught on my basic face design. I've always done my best to try not to mimic anyone elses style, because I've always wanted someone to see a random pic and say that's "Eric's/Kontonno's" style. I do have influence from Alvin Lee, Fred Perry, Aja Williams, and Rosalio Hernandez. The muzzles are pretty much my own style that I've sorta thrown together just playing with sketches. I'm sure there are people with similar styles. However, I can't name anyone who was a direct influence on my muzzles. Most of my influence comes from muscle anatomy and body types.

I can see you made some new small details on him, like the red marks under his eyes, they a bigger now and the hair also look ditterent, the same with his ear.
He looks more like a hard boy/man on this draw then they others with him, and as always you have done some great work on the details, it's a very good draw with Sion, but for myself... I like the other ones with him better.

Sion used to be my pretty boy of my three anthro characters. I think I sorta broke that look with this picture, but trust me, it hasn't changed. I probably wont be changing anything from his old look except the markings as I did in this pic here. Thanks though ;D
