I know..but I was compelled by a power beyond my understanding. The Cure just played here this weekend. I was too busy to go..sucks!

He'd have naughty alone robot time to himself and wouldn't have to answer to any stoopid peoples anymores!

But he'd have all the time in the world to robot around doing roboty things with his robot friends, so once he gets over the initial shock, he'll be good.
(Except if he was a killer robot which would make him job-less. Then a bout of depression is understandable.)

But my approach would be similiar to "soldier returns home to find he doesn't fit in"-stories, except with robots...
