Nah, Sadie is kinda immature and mental ill like Lars too, and she also made mistakes that hurt Lars' mental health (i.e. Island fiasco). Although she had good intentions, she has to mature and ''fix'' herself too (At least Lars is already in that process).
The problem is that Lars showed more negative symptoms and had worse than her, and Sadie kinda knew that, she knew he needed help, that's why she wanted to help him so much, that's why she wanted to ''force'' him to be happy. Cuz she loves him and cares about him (as my best friend loves me, he always tries to help me cuz im almost 100% like Lars and i know the suffering it entails to have these internal problems)
Lars loves her too, that's why he at least tried to improve his relationship with her after ''The New Lars'' (see in ''Future Boy Zoltron'', ''The New Crystal Gems'', in ''The Good Lars'' even he reveals her his secret of his baking skills!).
They have things in common, they do activities together -they share the same humor, even they are sarcastic- They can be themselves when they are together, even if they have things they disagree with. They complement each other.
They love each other, they just didn't know how to do things right to each other.
And really, im so done with the ''oh Sadie is perfect godness, oh she deserves better, oh she can do better'' to keep reading those at this point.

True enough, as long as Sadie didn't decide to dump his ass after he abandoned her (again) by running away to hide like a wuss in the ship. We will see just what the ramifications will be to their relationship after Lars gets home. I think he is going have to man up take her a lot more seriously if he doesn't this ship to sink.
