Hi Chiletrek,
Do you want Textures and UV Maps?

Hi Chiletrek,
I'll organize all the files for the Oracle and then have to email them to you.
Just send me a note with an email to send the files to.

Hi ChileTrek,
The shuttlebays are in the saucer section.
They are the "1" and "2" in this image, and/or the square inset depressions port and starboard.
I actually measured the size of the Galileo 7 shuttle and it fits (with 1 meter on each side, top, bottom, port, starboard) just fine.

Hi Chiletrek,
Yes, I almost used that idea, but realized that having to land at that angle of the saucer would not really be practical for a spaceship. The side doors make more sense.

Hello:
Well, all normal shuttlebays are horizontal. So there is that option unless I can come-up with something different for my Trek-verse.

Hi Chiletrek,
Probably not.
They do have a large number of outposts.

Hello:
Would this ship work in small groups? Maybe with a Pathfinder class as a leading vessel?

Kodai-Okuda In reply to Chiletrek [2018-11-24 02:06:35 +0000 UTC]
Hi Chiletrek,
It depends on the mission.
Normally these ships work alone, however, in hostile space they might be apart of a small task for of 1 to 3 additional ships.
Anything from a frigate to two destroyers or three cutters might be with the Oracle depending on how hostile the area of space the Oracle is patrolling.
It would not normally have a Pathfinder with it unless the Oracle was part of a sweep of a wide area of space that was looking for cloaked ships.

Section 31 really is a Necessary evil. the feds could never survive the Tal'Shiar or the Obsidian order without them.

ILLUMINATI!!!!!!
Seriously, nice, i've been trying to figure out a way to work one of those aireal radar dish style platforms onto a ship without it looking derpy. This, this looks nice <3

Yah, the golf ball doesn't work to well on most federation style ships... as well as some other designs. I think the USAF's early warning and detection was the right choice here, it kinda fits with the other "pods" and modules that have appeared on various designs in the same configuration. I always have trouble with it though because I keep making the disk the wrong size. Too big and it looks like another hull, to small and it looks silly.

Very nice! So does it disable cloaks of just detects cloaks?

Kodai-Okuda In reply to AngelisGoodwen [2018-05-08 18:33:13 +0000 UTC]
Thank you.
It only detects the ion-emissions of the impulse engines, and the neutrinos of the reactors of cloaked ships. The sensor has a wide variety of different detection tools inside it (which is why it is so big) ranging from sensors that can detect normal (non-cloaked ships) at warp, to stellar phenomena like magnetar stars, pulsars, novas, etc.

So it just an all around sensor ship, that can focus in on cloaked ship.

Kodai-Okuda In reply to AngelisGoodwen [2018-05-08 20:03:10 +0000 UTC]
Basically, that was my idea, yes.
It can detect the presence of neutrinos and ionized gas particles and if their source of emission is moving at sublight speeds (fractions of the speed of light), which would indicate a possible cloaked vessel.
The sensor cannot detect the type of ship, or even if it is actually a ship, but a trained operator (just like in real-life with RADAR) can make an educated guess.

That's what I thought, it can only detect a potential cloaked ship.
Very nice!
