Description Primeans and Helzig civilians - not sure if they all match my vision, but they were fun to do. : )

*specially the Rural Helzig girl, the elite and the largest one!

As I'm sure you're aware (more than others, I bet!) it's really hard to make a culture look like it all developed together and not look like they're all wearing the same exact thing. It can be really tricky, to make them different but still look like they're all from the same place. I'm sure you run into that problem a lot! >___<

And thanks! They're my favorites, too! : 3

Oh very nice, it reminds me a lot of Shab's "Old" drawings with multiple civillians of a race or such.

A very interesting set of designs. You get the sense that the Helzig make their own clothes... and that they have no idea how to do that. XD

Not too far off from the truth! Helzig is hot and gritty, so not a lot of emphasis is put on 'elegance'. There is a sense of it, but more in areas where power is centralized, like fortresses. Otherwise, they're mostly scroungers, scavengers, hunters and combatants with little care for stressing humility.

Looks like interesting land to visit.
But Toni is right, you should make comic or pictured story with these.

Aw man, thanks Bunny. It's stuff like that that makes me feel like a little girl full of warm emotions and loved by her family. <: 3

...I mean... much appreciated, bro. }: [

She doesn't know what real love is, Brent. The love forged over dirty drawings and anonymous internet handles. ;;___;;

Hah! I'm actually 'ing. You are too fun (which is why I love you)! Well, at least your internet handle is anonymous... anyone who cares to Google mine can find me in moments... which is why I did it. Also, I'd like to think our love was forged over interesting art... as 'dirty drawings' sounds a bit... dirty.

Such great stuff!  Primeans look happier and cover just a little more and better.  The Helzig sometimes don't look like they're even concerned that they are...dressed!   The big Helzig figure with the assymetric look of her--socks--is evident of that!

The Helzig run about their badlands barefoot or often close to being barefoot?

I think barefoot is in order - but that's not to say they couldn't wear shoes, they're just rugged stock. ; ) Much to the chagrin of foot enthusiasts out there... I have to imagine the Helzig foot is all calloused and gross. XD

This makes me wonder why you don't draw comics...

There are a few reasons, but most of all I'm not talented enough yet. I am really pushing myself this year, so I think maybe next year will be when I take a crack at it. I just never want to start at a skill level that I'll be disappointed with in two months when I finally learn how to do eyes or noses or fingers or toes. ; )

If you need some advice on panelling and stuff like that, you can always ask me. I have plenty of years of manga drawing and publishing experience

Also, learning is painstaking and having to deal with disappointments all the time. But if you know how to overcome those disappointments, you improve.
