I am aware that the horse this meme rode in on has been dead for some time now, but I really wanted to get at least one good whack at it. Besides, I haven’t seen any Utena characters associated with it yet so I thought it should be done.This was a lot of fun to make and I’m pretty pleased with how it came out. I absolutely used references for the characters and I think it helped a lot. It was oddly difficult to choose the punch line term, not because I couldn’t think of anything, but because I thought of too many.

“Lesbi-friends!”
There were a few more but those were my favorites. I finally went with “Lesbian Adventure” because I liked how it tied into the original meme.
I’m not actually much of a fan of Shiori/Juri as a couple so I just had to throw Ruka in there, lamenting all his wasted effort and chastising me for drawing this.

That is pretty funny. I guess I do like Jru/Shiori a lot, just because their relationship was interesting to watch and I sympathize with Juri's lesbian angst. (Granted I was never in love with anyone with as many issues as Shiori, but still.) I'd feel more bad for Ruka, but his expression is just so funny that I have to laugh at him a little.
Well, at least Juri's happy that Shiori finally love her back.

I did date a crazy person, but she was way worse than Shiori could ever be. (Plus, I always interpreted the scene in episode 39 with Shiori being on the fencing team as Shiori working through some of her issues of resentment and jealously and that she and Jury took steps to improve their relationship.) Fortunately I wasn't in love with her, so I didn't have too much trouble ending the relationship once I realized how crazy she was. Sorry you fell in love with a nutter though. It must be much worse when you love the crazy person that you're dating.
