Ever since Aria was a little girl, she always knew they existed. Sure, more enlightened folk may tell you otherwise, but they haven't seen what Aria has seen... how on a whim they can destroy you, your loved ones, your home, and possibly even your innocence and sanity along the way.
That happened to her. A monster took away her mother and grandfather, burned her home to the ground, and nearly killed her. She was weak then. But that was then... and she had grown from that experience.
The monster in front of her was not the one who destroyed what she cared for, but Aria was determined to never let such a thing happen to her or anyone else ever again.
She stared down the ravenous beast, her silver sword Rapture coated in the blood of it's pack. The look in her eyes was one of cold, grim determination.

I think the thing I like most about this image are her hair and eyes. Normally in past images her hair has been fluffy and her eyes glistening and vibrant. Here her hair is a wispy, tangled mess and her eyes are just... cold. A massive departure to how she is normally, and it shows that angering her is a very DUMB decision.
Once again, you make her come alive, and it is wonderful to know that you enjoy drawing her.
