I think all the movies are a little disappointing but the 2 that really strike me is The Goblet Of Fire, and the half-blood prince..
hmm new techniques.. just a few new ways to shade..
I'm still trying to improve others areas as well..

Hmmm, At the moment I am working on Gandalf again < I know it's a miracle 
and maybe one more of final fantasy in the future, but I'm not sure yet.
And of course the drawing list in my journal... those must be done too ^^

about the mechanical pencils..
the 0.3 and 0.7 are the size of the lead..
so if u wanted to draw a really fine line u would use a 0.3, and if u wanted to shade a large area u would use a 0.7 or a 0.9
they go as small as 0.3/0.5/0.7/0.9..
And they have many types of leads for them, they go from 2H to 4B
2H being the lightest and 4B being the darkest..
the chart would be like this.
2H/3H/4H/H/HB/B/2B/3B/4B..

Oh I also saw Harry Potter last night and I didn't understand what all the hype was about. I kept waiting for something major to happen and I really didn't get it...well besides Dumbledore. It was definitely a little disappointing.

I mean, I like drawing. I like what I can do.. but somedays I would trade it in a heartbeat to be able to draw like you; this perfect photo-realism.

I also found it very disapointing. I felt like prep movie for the next one(s). Nothing major actually happened except for the Draco/Snape -> Dumbledore thinggy (lol, no spoilers here)
And even at that it kinda failed.. I dont know.. I love snape.. it's an excelent character played by an awesome actor and I rly wanted to see more of him. Draco's transformation was nice, but still.. he had what 3 minutes worth of screen time? I wanted to see more of his haunted soul aswel...
And why didnt voldemort show up? c'mon... At least we got to see the teen voldemort wich is the most 1337 character I've seen in a while. That actor did a great performance, it was better than what I could ask for.

yep the movie really disappointed me, I hated the way they kept changing the way thing happened, like the end bit with Snape, it makes Harry seem useless as he could've helped, while in the book he had no other choice as he couldn't move..
Also many bits were removed and not properly explained, like the bit when they went to the cave, they never told the audience how he knew it would be there.. also when Harry saved Ron, how did he know wot to do, obviously the ppl who have read the book would know, but the movie doesn't really explain..
And the house of the weasleys was never destroyed..
I could go on and on..

I dont rly mind changes during the book to movie transtion, as long as the story keeps solid..
Even so I think most of my disapointment was due to hype.. I was expecting too much ^^
anyway.. lets hope the next ones are better (next ONES because I read that they will make 2 movies out of the last book)

indeed, but I dont think that will be the problem, they might even create a new action sequence for a nice climax to split both parts. It would provide a good ending for the first movie and would give the fans something totally new on harry potter, It could be fun.
Or yes.. it could make us wanna die.. ^^
