When I see youmy heart pounds
like rain in
a typhoon,
When we touch
you make me howl
like a wolf at a full moon.
You're the breeze
that scooped me up
and swept me off my feet,
My love for you
is like the ocean
it goes down
so deep.
When we talk
i lose my words
my mouth turns
parched and dry
like ashes mixed with
specs of sand
that fall from
desert skies.
You pulled me in
and kept me
like shells pulled
by the undertoe,
your eyes twinkle more
than every star in the universe
with their
mesmerizing glow.
When we met
you picked me up
off of the ground
like a hurricane
you dropped me and i fell for you
like snow falls
on winter days.
You're a 10 on the richter scale
my personal earthquake
because when im around you
my whole body starts to shake.
You're my end, my sunset
i'll miss you much tonight
i'll wait for you to rise at dawn
just to bask in your sunlight.

This is absolutely beautiful... the imagery is so perfect; the words paint a clear, vivid picture for the reader. The emotions are very strong as well, which is usually a pretty hard subject for people to successfully convey. Envious of your writing skills!

this is so beauitful, I love your earthquake imagery. Ive been browsing your other poems-your very talented.
I've writen poetry like this with no one in mind because, like you, no one does make me feel that way, but thats ok, it just means were romantics :-P

I know exactly what you mean by this. I write poems like this all the time because it is so easy to picture that perfect person! Your poems are beautiful and bring the sweetest and saddest thoughts to mind. I'm so glad that people like you who put actual feeling into their poems are still around! I know I try to whenever I write a poem. Someday I'll be as good as you!
