Tatat, here he isβ¦my Alexander the Great
(played by Colin Farrell)I finished it just minutes ago and even when Iβm not as happy with it like with the Hepheastion drawing ([link] ) I kind of like it
Now all I need is a good drawings of Cleitus and Cassander and I will have all my Favourites on my wall

Alexander the great is a unique and fascinating historical figure. I find it kind of funny how in modern pop culture we like to imagine him as a dashing and heroic character who of course had to have been devestatingly handsome. But in reality, the portraits and statues thats survive paint him as rather short, skinny guy with a big noose and a crooked neck. And there are even accounts that some of his newly conquered subjects across asia were astonished when they saw him because they could not concieve this shrimp was the great warlord who had put their society down. Still, a good sketch, love the far off gaze.

Hey I think Farrell did it really quite well as Alexander! Who else has got the guts to portray such a man?! But, if not had to be Colin, who else do you think could have played as Alexander? I always wonder this.
A brave, but yet doubtful young boy. Small but yet strong; powerful and hard, but yet loveable, in a way that such you could only wish you had been there by his side or just see him... Very, very hard!
