the dots on the picture... seems like light, brings back the idea of a lovely summer day, you know?
did you catch those dots in the photograph itself, or was it edited afterwards?
and the some goes for the summer-ish colors, i guess. :3

Yeah, most of it was in the original shot, but I edited in a few more to make it cover the area a bit better. I wanted to make the heart shape space between us stand out more as a result, but it's a little hard to notice.
The summer colours are edited, it was a freezing cold winters day and if you look closely, you can see we're standing in the snow!

It was just snow that was falling on the lens. Because I was focusing at us, the snow flakes got some serious depth of field and became bokeh.
