Description Tried to paint Yuuku in old Japanese Ukiyo-e style.

Normally, Ukiyo-e prints would be carved onto woodprinting blocks and mass-produced, but alas, due to lack of time and materials I just used ink and watercolors.

... Frightening as in, it instills a deep sense of nostalgia that has an underlying sad and frightened tone to it when I see it.

But she's purty. Derp.

Interesting. Like seeing ghosts of the past? At least this style isn't exactly *dead*, lots of people study it and attempt to imitate it.

Shpanks~

I fail at male anatomy. So hard. Especially at Len's. Cause, you know.. pre-puberty slightly muscular chests are HARD TO DRAW FFFFFF-

Quite.

WOW. IT'S AMAZING.

Seriously, everything about this picture is fantastic: the anatomy, the shading... heck, even your signature just emanates this, "Hi, I'm awesome, but my creator doesn't think so because her fatal flaw is honesty!" vibe!

Really, really great job. (BTW, what exactly does 'Ukiyo-e' mean?)

WOW. THANK YOU

Ohohoho I know I'm awesome~ *le honesty*
I occasionally feel good about something like this that I've spent... quite a bit of time on ^^""

Ukiyo-e literally means "pictures of the floating world" It's basically a technique for mass-producing art like this that all sort of had the same style, but obviously there were distinct differences between different artists~ //kinda mashed 'em all up here
