Back in 74 I lived across from a guy who restored a beautiful 57 and had it for sale for $4500..I had wanted that car from the Day One.. so I went over intent on buying it.. and when I tried to get in..I didnt fit!!!! Even with the seat back and the wheel tilted I couldnt get my knees to clear the dash! I was crushed!!!.. but.. the next week I got a 72 240Z...airdams...spoiler.. basket mags...koni shocks..borg/warner racing clutch, and an Ansa over under exhaust.. I have a crappy old Instamatic shot of it.. one of my favorite cars, for sure for sure!! ( But I still wish I could have fit in that sweet black Tbird.) [link]

It was sweet! I 'm 6' 3" and my legs were pretty much straight in front of me.. like riding a go cart..could wind 95 out of second...

Nice. No modern distractions in the background. This could be a classic shot if it wasnt for the exif info.

i love the pool water reflections from bumper to paint
the ice cream color and summer day feel
the perspective as if just about to depart on a road trip
