Description Paradise Is....

"Paradise Is...." Sunflowers, Sunsets, Mountains, and Colorado!

Photographed on the eastern plains of Colorado, during a display of what I can only call 'Heavenly'.

I sure hope this Sunflower field returns this year, and praying hard at that too! It has provided me with some of the most amazing photographs I have ever shot....and unobstructed views of the whole front range are almost a rarity these days.

You can see the entire series so far that I have posted (yes I have MANY more yet to come) in my collection called
The Sunflower Series
---John

More can always be seen on my website at jdebordphoto.com Photo is ยฉ John De Bord, 2009. Please do not blog or use my photos without getting my permission first. This is NOT a creative commons photograph! I do my best to answer all comments and comment back, but it isn't always possible. I really thank you all for your support, it really means a LOT to me!

That is flat-out stunning. Great colors; what technique was used, as far as light control? Filters, or HDR? I'm guessing some rather nice GNDs, as this appears far too contrasty to be an HDR. Might be mistaken.

On a different note, I actually drove through this area last October, swearing that I would return in the spring to see the blooms. Sadly, time was not on my side.
