Love the perspective, though a little over-edited, I believe the contrast is set too high. Still love the shot though!

I know there's not much of a Scottish thing around Whitehall St, but this really reminds me of the cross of St. Andrew, which somehow makes the shot so much more interesting...

Yeah, the shape and the blue-white tones both reminded me of the cross. It is not that such shots are bad in any way, but as all good things, after a while get boring when seen multiple times. I think an extra something, as in this case, brings out the initial idea and erases the cliche... In the end it doesn't matter if there is anything Scottish there or if you had the idea for the cross, it still makes for a broken mould and a better than most shot of this kind.
