Great painting!
I thought the movie was fantastic. Probably my favorite Disney movie since Hunchback of Notre Dame. I liked the sisterly love thing too.

Relying on Pixar isn't such a bad thing, I personally really like Pixar (usually more than disney).
Although they never slowed down the production: about 1 disney classic (which means made by walt disney feature animation) per year.
Other disney movies are usually sequels made by a smaller disney studio.
As for the hand drawn animation, it depends of your taste. I also really liked their hand-drawn era but that may be caused by nostalgia. Or maybe it looks somewhat more "mature" this way, I don't know.

That's fine and all, but wouldn't it seem best to be working on their own terms instead of sharing with Disney? Just a thought. Not to mention you gotta admit it gets kind of tiring to see they win all the awards for animation when there are just as good other films that should deserve something. Just saying. I don't hate Pixar, I only say this because everything they do is just gosh darn great you can't hate it... Just my opinion nothing disrespectful. Heh, now ain't that the truth, not to mention all of them are based off from something except for their PG films like Atlantis, Lilo & Stitch, and Treasure Planet.
Well here's my question compared to CGI and hand drawn. What is it they are doing when making a CGI film it is always PG and never G. Mostly Pixar has G rated films and many of Disney's hand drawn animations we're mostly G given the fact if the concept of their films we're too deep. That's just my question. Their are like a lot of things that CGI has that bothers me compared to hand drawn animation which isn't just story plots or running time.

Disney bought Pixar. That's probably why they aren't working on their own terms.
I also think awards are bullshit. Besides, an awarded movie doesn't prevent it from being good.
That being said, I always loved Pixar more than Disney. Not in terms of graphism, but in terms of story and film direction.
About CGI, I don't know if you noticed but Disney used it for a long time. I can remember that the hunter's car in The Fox and the Hound (1981) really looks computer generated, and the gears in the clock, in The Great Mouse Detective are for sure computer generated. I should check if I'm right but I'm pretty sure it is.
Now if by CGI you meant fully CG movies, that just depends on your taste and point of view.
I think the beautiful work on lights and high details due to CGI does make Pixar movies "deeper" and that it really fits with the story.
However, I would prefer to watch some hand-drawn or 2D CGI fun cartoons than high-detailed 3D cartoons.
