I love this picture so much! Britta is such an awesome photographer!
I debuted this costume at Desucon 2 this weekend, it was such a blast! I can't believe I actually won second place at the costume competition. I still haven't gotten over the experience just yet xD
My obi is acting weird. But oh well. I'm so happy I decided to handembroidery it, turned out really pretty :]

do you make your costumes yourself? i want to take it up so i just wondered whether people tend to make it from scratch an how much it costs etc....beautiful work as well

Yes, I make it myself :] Some people prefer to buy their costumes, but those I see as true cosplayers sew their own costumes. Takes a lot of time and practice, but that's how you learn anyways :3
The costs is based on the material and complexity of your costume, and of course where you bu your materials from.
