I just watched the new anime series, Dororo, that came out recently. It's a remake of 1969's Dororo series, yeah, 50 years old!

It was created by Osamu Tezuka, the God of Manga.

Dororo tells about the adventures of an orphaned child thief, Dororo, and a mysterious swordsman named Hyakkimaru. Hyakkimaru was born without limbs, eyes, ears, and other organs, all thanks to his (a**hole) daimyo father who sacrificed him to demons for his desires. Abandoned by his father and later adopted and raised by a doctor who gave him prostheses, Hyakkimaru went on his quest to reclaim his missing body parts from the demons.

It's so freaking good! I really love it already. It's kinda more bloody and darker than 1969's series. But it looked so cool. I absolutely love the opening song, so awesome!

*sighs* I just love samurai stuff. lol
