somewhere in the middle while working on this i was really liking it, but at the end of it all i got disappointed. but i guess i didn't really have a direction set in mind to achieve anyway so i guess i was just trying my luck. which doesn't work all of the time.i need to study more elements. don't know where from to do that.
this turned out kinda graphic-ey.

I love how you shaded her umbrella clothes with different colors and the way the clouds are painted. The relfection is great also

lol while drawing it i never really gave much thought of the relativity in size though. i just wanted heavy clouds looming over her, and that they're so heavy and abundant that they have weight over her chest.

You know, for the shadow thing, you could have just took the girl, make another copy of the layer of her, turn her upside down, use some gradient and tweak with the effects. It would have looked... real i suppose with the whole gradient effect. But i laik the orange umbrella! Wee! Mine is grey and short.. T-T I want that umbrella! Then i can do the dancing in the rain act!

lol. i never thought of the shadow thing at first. added it at the last minute to give her some gravity. hmmm tehrue tehrue. =3 for some reason whenever i do works i never think beyond using brushes n colours.. XD
