Damn, you really got me with this one. I usually quickly grow weary of the daily cuteness overload present on the web. But this one also stands as a great example of scene setup and perfect lighting. Not to mention the great variation of character expressions constructed from such a limited set of doll heads in your photos. If I had to find fault I would say that the upper right corner feels a bit flat and empty for me, like missing an edge of a wall painting or so.

I can see why is a DD - its cute, but gently - whats impressive is how hd-clear it is and how real the depth, lighting and textures feel.

This picture is just breath-taking. It's amazing how everything is blurry with the exception of the little sleepyhead.

I find it splendid. So please tell me, you said the room is hand made. How did you manage to construct such a detailed setting? After looking at it for a while, I suppose you could say I became capable of speech again., and so now I'm curious. How did you construct such a detailed and realistic kotetsu and the way you had the blinds blow in the "wind" leaves stunned. You really deserved that DD! I'm rather happy you were awarded it!

I use Canon 60d with 50mm 1.8 lens
