A little drawing I made today.Β
I don't feel like drawing lately. I'm somehow unhappy with my art, I have the feeling that I didn't improved in the last 2 years.Β
But I try not to give up. I love my hobby alot. I really want to finish the stuffs I owe, and then start with my PMD comic and some fanart. >.<
So I made this Charmander. He's trying to cheer you up :3

Don't ever feel bad about your art! I think you're always improving (your coloring style has become very striking, for instance), plus some things are already nice enough they don't need improving, after all.

I don't know why I felt unhappy. I just saw some drawings from artists I follow and I had the feeling they improved alot, but not me. I know that's childish, but...I don't know :/

I know what that's like, there are some that stick in my head like a sore thumb - I mean, you do a piece, but it's not even at the same level as you are capable of and for some reason you just can't do better, or even do what you are able to, and it's just... worse than you can do, no matter what you try to do to fix it.
It is SO FRUSTRATING and quite honestly, it feels like you have somehow let yourself down because you know you can do better than what you have produced, but for some reason it is the best you could do this time around... it really is irritating and doesn't spark any confidence.. :/
But... like every other time before that, it dries up, and you return to doing the level of art you are truly capable of, or even better. :3
So don't worry so much. :3
Pity we can't just eat that art block... I'm hungry.
