erf...i don't even know if keijou is a name....just used the first name i thought up of >_>;;mm just wanted to practice hair. that part came out....alright i guess? his expression looks....retarded T_T i sped through this drawing. it started out as a doodle. then i decided to ink it with my new sakura brush pen...which was hard to use. i usually press pretty hard using my regular sakura pens. but with this brush type it's harder to control since its so bendy (apply more pressure in places and release gradually...meanwhile, must maintain smoothness of line..etc) >___> i onli bought this pen to make coloring blobs of hair easier and faster (coloring that hair with my usual .2mm pen would take forever....and would kill the pen). shrug. ref was used for bottom of his shirt...like i said, i drew it really fast so...it looks chunky.
gomen. shrug. i've been slacking when i draw lately. i know there's a kazillion things wrong with this pic that is wrong or that i could add except, i'm just lazy. must get serious again and get nit-picky! i promise i'll make a good, serious, and finished work before summer ends!
but before that...my to-do list:
1) this mini comic of a scenerio i was imagining(um..only gumi knows what i'm talking about) 2) continue drawing pages for my club manga at school(barely any progress)
3) finish this watercolor painting of an anime girl that i started like a month ago.....
4) practice anatomy!!! gahh
5) learn how to watercolor n photoshop!!!! um yea....this to-do list is gona take awile to complete.....

I just need to know, how much is a sakura brush pen and where can you get one? :3 I'd ask you how you managed the hair, but then I'd just be being a pain
I've been trying to use photoshop to simulate line intensity, but it just hasn't been working right at all, so I'm intregued by your magical pen.

Very cool. I must admit that I'm a little jealous. Working with ink has not been one of my strong points.
I like the variation in line thickness (though it's maybe a little too thin at the neck). The hair looks very good. There's two things... the collar looks a bit off. Something about it makes it feel like it's not really going around his neck. The other thing is that patch of dark shading on his sleave. It's the only patch that dark, and it's surrounded by white, so it feels a little awkward.
Once again, very nicely done.

i c what u mean about the collar again T.T i'm still having trouble with clothing and stuff. and the patch of dark...was and accident >____<;;;; my hand slipped while i was inking that part so i decided to fill in the area...which didn't turn out so well T_T also, i wanted to do a light crosshatch where his left arm bends, but i used my thick brushpen instead of my thinner one by accident. meh..oops?
