I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. I loved this character. She was so generic and cut and paste evil. No backstory. No motive. Just black and white Chaotic Evil.Β
Plus, her hair was awesome.

Please explain. The only, and i repeat ONLY connection i can see between mane-iac and doc ock is the fact that mane-iac uses her mane-tentacle things the same way doc uses his tentacles, thats it. Its certainly not enough to actually link the two.

Well, she did have henchmen. Plus, i'm fairly certain that it doesn't take much knowledge to assemble and modify a hair/mane dryer, even if it is super sized.

I said "...assemble and modify a hair/mane dryer...".Β Plus, again, she DID have henchmen, its not unthinkable that she somehowΒ recruitedΒ a scientist into her henchmen. Plus, it is possible that she isΒ knowledgeableΒ in those areas after taking courses in school (pre-mane-iac).

I'm pretty sure she was supposed to be a parody of the ridiculous, idiotic, childishly-themed villains that appear in a lot of comic book stories. Then again, her backstory was pretty similar to one of the Joker's possible origins (falling in a vat of chemicals, coming out with crazy green hair and totally insane, etc).

i have nothing really against nightmare rarity...I just think she's OK really...I just didn't like the army thing...why didnt the being that possed them show its self?How the hell could animals live on the moon!!Its kinda the little things like that set me off....should I give the comic another chance?
