This is for the 8th CLIP STUDIO PAINT illustration contest 2016 which is going on Via FB the theme is kemomimi (animal ears) obviously I was gonna do something involving a cat girl XD I read on there they also take in Likes on a piece into consideration when picking a winner so if you dont mind and me being cheeky in asking to give my piece a like on there page and if you've also entered let me know I do the same.

This was first time I did a piece using Clip studio completely normally I heavily use Paint tool sai and use clip studio for the minor things. The grass they sitting on I did that so random at first I was like WTF do I do I cant do grass but then when I said to phil (my partner) look I can be a bob ross using the oil brush I started randomly dabbing the piece chatting random crap while doing a bad impression of bob ross XDD it worked thou the grass looks alright.

at first i was like omg this is gonna be so hard to get used to, it didn't help i tried the previous version and didn't get on with it at all but the latest version of clip really nice to you and not so overwhelming on the eyes.
clip has alot more to offer, like more brushes, 3d models you can even pose a model to use for reference then its has manga panels really good program sai lovely but clip has alot more to offer, i think i be using a mix of both. you should try clip out
that background was so random XDDD i was chatting so much random stuff while doing it LOL

My copy of Clip is just sitting there collecting dust.

i didn't until i played around with it XDD also keep a watch on clip twitter and fb they're always sharing brushes and others helpful things for the program
you gotta give it a try i think you would enjoy using it and master the program really quick

Getting the angel must of been a pain, I love how you did the looking from above angel and the colours here really look amazing too, also your backgrounds are getting better all the time too, even though you may say otherwise, buuuut that's my opinion and I am sticking with it lol

its also know as manga studio.
you can download a free trial on there site, its a nice program to use at first its abit scary but i think i found it scary cause i used a previous version and it was so difficult to figure out and how so much going on
