lesbians feel a severe disconnect with our gender due to not being "feminine" enough (i for one often feel "fake" bc i like make-up and other traditionally feminine things) so, a few (mostly nb or butch lesbians) use he/himΒ
not bc they want too discredit ftm ppl, its just bc of years of being told what to "do" too be a womanΒ

actually that's not why he/him lesbians exist at all. plz forgive my grammar... but it started as a way for lesbians to protect themselves from literally being murdered. back before it was legal to be marred to a same gendered individual as depressing and awful as this is they used to murder same gender attracted people, so lesbians decided that to protect themselves they wold use he/him in public.
another reason is closeted trans lesbians, they are also using he/him as protection.

I'm also happy to see non-binary included in there cause I'm a nb lesbian I don't really define myself as butch but I still use he/him cause that's just part of the gender non-conforming lesbian experience (ye just a little note that gnc grabs a better range there cause there are gnc lesbians that fall in the femme range or anywhere in-between that use he/him too!).
