Like each year I make one of these.

2020 was sure a strange year for everyone duo the coronavirus. I must say even though I had to change a lot in my lifestyle as for freedom in public space.I must say that 2020 was a year I actually did grow as a person and artist. This year I saw more opportunities than things I could not do.
And most important of all, I re-started again with practising Kung-fu. And I finally decided to do something about the ongoing depression I was struggling with for the past 5 years. So even if 2020 was a damn strange year, it was also the year I finally opened my eyes and see what my path I should walk. And that I was going the wrong direction with just getting a production job.

Not that my job is worthless. I am actually helping people with this job by providing products for cardiac operations. And even in this corona time, they provide me with a loan. So I just can live my life as I am used too. And I think I can count my self lucky with this. But this workplace made me depressed because it gave me much-thinking space about what I was doing with my life the past 5 years after my study. Losing my actually focus as an artist.
So suddenly my brain was this is enough, And I started to work 32 hours instead of the 40 hours. Yet now I have one day more time to work on my own thing. And suddenly I decided that my plans of starting my own business should become a reality. And soon I will have my first T-shirt designs online. And hopefully releasing the first chapters of ‘chronicles of the Panduan’ in 2021. Especially now I know what direction I want to go unless a year ago that this all was a vague idea.
I decided this year I wanted to help another artist as well, and working on Project-grow together with a friend. Where we are developing a platform for the artist where they can find easy access to get feedback. And I am proud to see this project growing to an actual thing and we both hope in 2021 to proceed with this project further and even get it online for real.
Atm, I can’t show you something about this project yet, the platform does work but it def needs a lot of tweaking before it’s useable for users. The moment it’s ready I will be sure to invite a few people who want to try it out for the closed Beta.
But most important of all, Now I haven’t all bussy weekends anymore duo the virus I had plenty of time for art. And I did notice that I did grow a lot now I feeling better now and enjoying what I am creating. I am so happy with this and this is all is why 2020 wasn’t a disasters year for me at all.
