favorite holiday; Joel doesn't celebrate holidays all that much, usually passing them by without a thought (except for the more obvious ones, like Christmas, where it's hard for him to avoid it). His favorite holiday, however, is Halloween. He likes children, and so seeing them happy really does something good for him, something that he can smile about and actually just relax and enjoy. It doesn't help that he also likes learning about the history of the holiday, as he finds such things quite interesting. It also doesn't help that he has a passion for candy and all things sweet. Really, if he could, he would still go trick-or-treating. His favorite candy is butterscotch.
tradition for holiday; Like most people, Joel does the traditional things; carves pumpkins, stays out to midnight to hand out candy, and decorates for Halloween. One of these things, however, is quite different than the regular thing to do, and that is the part about carving pumpkins. Joel fancies himself to be quite an artist and grows his own pumpkins in a garden, only to carve the whole lot of them, small and large and good in bad. He truly makes works of art, and they have become so much of a tradition that every year he dedicates a full two weeks to his carving. He even enters contests and competitions occasionally, and actually doesn't do too shabby the majority of the time in placements.

tradition for holiday; when varren was young, he and his family lived in a far north country, and always celebrated the solstice with a feast as the end of the shortening days and the beginning of more sunlight hours. varren is a much more solitary bean as an adult, but he still celebrates the day with a small feast of his own. if you are invited to join him for that day, it is a sure sign that he deeply considers you a friend.

tradition for holiday; as a child, the easter bunny would come and leave him treats and a basket full of fun. Although at first, he didnt quiet believe in this mystical rabbit. Poaw's parent's decided to make him believe, they would make a very large paw template out of cardboard and would dump some baby powder in the template, creating foot prints over to his lovely basket. When he grew older, the secret of how the paw prints came into the house came out. Poaw still does this small tradition even for himself, and maybe even a significant other.

Tradition for holiday; A German tradition of hiding a pickle in the Christmas tree on Christmas eve, the first kid who finds it wins a gift. Ruine has a fondness for hiding and discovering things so she’ll set up the biggest fir tree in her front yard and let the horde of grabby little paws of the local kids find the pickle. Mainly she likes this tradition because finding a hidden pickle is a ludicrous idea when attached to the term “hidden treasure”.

tradition for holiday; Safina is always excited for Spring Festival. She loves her job as a wedding planner, especially the struggles of those who wish for her to fight against a Christmas party for their hall. After the stress of Christmas weddings, Safina packs her bags and heads off to her home town, Kuching. She usually stays for two weeks so she can greet everyone, but sadly missing the last day of the holiday due to work. But Safina's favourite tradition is the food. Every Lunar New Year she prepares for her family the seven lucky foods:
1. Fish- for prosperity (usually a catfish or Chinese mud carp)
2. Dumplings- for wealth (not saurkraut but cabbage or raddish with the occasional copper coin or white thread)
3. Spring rolls - For wealth
4. Rice Cake - For higher income
5. Rice balls - Family togetherness
6. Longevity noodles- Happiness and longevity
7. Good fortune fruit - Fullness and Wealth (Usually tangerines or pomeoles from the local market)
It's a beautiful thing to see Safina in the kitchen barking orders at her younger sistars and forcing the elder women to sit down gently. It's become tradition.

Even though he resembles one of Santa's iconic reindeer Prancer, Aleksi preferred celebrating Juhannus in his home country Finland than celebrating Joulu as it was quite annoying with the snide remarks about his reindeer appearance. He would drive out into the woods and throw a bonfire party. It is traditional to put a birch branch in front of doors to welcome people, so as a gift of his love and to show that he welcomes his friends into his life he whittles figurines out of birch branches to give out to his friends. Even though he does not live in Finland anymore, he still gives his new friends whittled figurines based off of their personalities every June 22nd.

tradition for holiday; he enjoys Christmas, barbecue of this fun and unique tradition his family used to do, and he still does it. His family and him after presents and christmas lunch, always did competitions which were snows activities, for example who could build the most creative snowman to toboggan sled races. Though ending up wet and soggy, Ryker enjoyed every minute of this day. Though no longer living with his family he continues this tradition with his friends.

However he also finds that all the broken ones somehow end up in his mouth before the night is over...

tradition for holiday; Pavutyna spends a couple months before the Christmas celebration, weaving silver and gold "spider webs" from glittering thread. They take him quite some time to create, as they're so elaborate. Once he's completed the webs, he uses them to decorate his tree, the gold and silver glittering amidst the green. This stems from an old Ukrainian legend, that tells of a very poor family who grew a tree for the children from a pinecone. The children were so excited to have a tree, and they would gaze at it every day and daydream about the beautiful way they would decorate it for Christmas. The family was too poor to afford decorations though, so dispute the daydreams, the children knew their tree would remain unadorned. To their wonder and surprise, when they woke Christmas morning, the children discovered that spiders had spun webs of glistening silk around the tree’s branches. Each thread magically turned into silver and gold giving the children a tree they would never forget. Pavutyna loves this legend, and all the work that he puts into making the webs is completely worth it to him.

tradition for holiday; Jule loves winter the most and also the long holiday coming within November and Dezember. Unlike other beans, Jule is kind of "old fashioned". He can't stand all this happiness, staying at home with relatives, having a tree inside the house full of christmasballs, jingle bells and electric lights. He loves more the natural way of christmas. Decorating his old house in the Woods with a Mistletoe at his doore, that he cut off from a tree by himself. Using fir branches within the ofen to make the air smell good or using it at the table with pinecones to make his home looking more beautiful, enjoying the lonliness and only being surounded by some wild animals, visiting him every year. As soon as the snow starts to cover the ground, he decorates a fir right infront of his hous with red apples. He dose not feel the need to cut it off and taking it into his home. Seeing it grow even more every year, makes him more happy than any cut off tree with plastic on it could ever do. Also the wild animals like Deer, rabbit or boar visiting him seam very thankful for the small sweet apples at the tree.

Holiday Tradition; He loves dressing up (usually as a tree, adding things such as cobwebs, spiders, and other creepy crawlers to his antlers) and making his home into one big haunted house for the kids. If they make it through, they receive a king sized candy of sorts. If they back out, they get a handful of smaller pieces. He very much enjoys the screams of the children, but also how excited they get when they are complete and have successfully made their way through. It's like christmas, bringing joy to the kids. This holiday, however, isn't about the gifts, it's about who he can scare!
