He's such a good father. He loves his babies so much! Sometimes his mate chases him away from them and we have to give him 'visitations' with the babies. He's happy we kept a couple so that he has company when she's sitting on eggs.

We don't know if Chico and Bela were siblings. We adopted them when they were almost a year old from a previous owner.
The siblings seem to naturally pair themselves off when they play. So far they haven't turned out to be male and female pairs.

Yes. The pet store where I take them for their wing trims and check ups are constantly surprised at the colour mutations.
It's lots of fun to wait for an eggs to hatch and watch the chicks feathers develop. It's almost like Christmas every time!
