That was me ^^ I have a group called SoulVeil that is for Soul Collector art specifically. People can do fanart of my work, create their own characters/ monsters of the soul collector world, even write fanfictions of my characters or their soul collector characters. 

By joining groups and submitting your work you are exposing your work. By joining specific groups you are showing artwork to people in that group that are interested in that particular kind of art. You have groups that love animal photography, dragon art, unique art around the world, etc. The list is endless in groups that are on Deviant art. You can search for specific groups and just send a request to join and walla! You then become a member and can submit your art and see artwork of others in that group. Or if someone likes your artwork (like I did) I can suggest it to the group, and it can go into the gallery IF you approve of it with the yes or no question it asks you. Hope that helps.
