I don't dislike the new design of Gwen in Omniverse (except for those eyes without pupils XD), but I can't say the same for Kevin.Maybe I have to get used to it, but even if in my humble opinion this look is not far from his original style, I can't appreciate it :-|
Anyway, her freckles are just adorable (I mean, Gwen is a redhead after all) and I love the new shape of her eyes ❤
EDIT: Just to clear some points. I REFUSE to draw Ben in the new style.This will never happen, 'cause it was hate at first sight. Let me say I'm really disappointed for his image change, I mean, they CAN'T suddenly modify the main character's design like that. It's a slap in the face to the fans.
In the same way I don't like the new Kevin, so I think I won't ever draw his Omniverse version. The only I save is Gwen (she's the lesser evil, though XD)

I really love your take on this design, & so wish *this* was the direction the show's character designers had chosen to go in. I love Gwen as a character, & you really captured her well here 
I completely agree with you as to the (Okay, I'm just gonna say it) HORRIBLE style change they used for Omniverse, it *was* a slap in the face. (Warning, this unintentionally turned into a rant xD). One of the things that always impressed me about this series (Ben 10, AF, & UA) was how detailed & expressive the style was, showing the influences of both Anime *&* Western animation styles & sort of 'meeting in the middle' (Not unlike the 'Avatar' series). Omniverse, (even *aside* from the horribly over-simplified style), butchered the *main character's* most well established & *basic* designs.
Ben looks like a goofy 13 year old 'skater' boy. Kevin looks like his gothic-styled 11 year old self was imprisoned in, not the Null Void, but a 'Gorillaz' music video. Gwen suddenly becomes Velma from Scooby-Doo, complete with an *exaggerated* stereotypical 'nerd' look she never had before. (& God, don't even get me *started* on how they butchered her previously bad-ass Anodite design & made it look like she was going to a rave/costume party, or something). And both Kevin & Gwen, even after all their emotional/physical/psychological development, suddenly start wearing the *exact* same outfits & accessories they wore as 10-11 year olds.
On one hand, I do understand that their goal was to take what had become a 'Saturday night' type of series (as AF & UA were) & turn it back into a Saturday Morning type series that would appeal to a younger audience (like the original Ben-10 was). But they used so many corny/cliche' method to do it, that it tainted my ability to even see them as the same characters they were in the previous installments. Such a mess. I so hope they decide to continue after Omniverse, but just revert back to what the real fans know & love.

Whoa! Holy Mackerel, dude! How long did you spend on this? It is perfection! Absolute perfection!! I love it! If you don't work for a cartoon network (Cartoon Network, Disney, Nickelodeon, ect.), you definitely should send in an application.
And I totally agree with you with the others, Kevin, Ben and his alien forms. What the scrap happened to to the animators at Cartoon Network? First - they introduce non-cartoon shows, then - they get rid of the classics, now they're butchering what's left of the good stuff. It's like they're trying to kill the fan's love of the shows or something.
Gwen's new look is the only plus of the latest season. But I found a picture of Gwen's 16 year old form. At this point, I can only assume it's the first time she's reintroduced since she left for collage.
Personal opinion: She looks like a total geek! Basically, take her 10-year-old form and morph it into a 16-year-old body. Zero alterations except she now has freckles and blue-framed, blue-tinted sunglasses. All she's missing is braces. I can only pray they change her before her re-introductory episode airs.

Gwen's design is okay. I think they made Kevin look like a neanderthal. I think Ben looks too young to be a teenager. They really seem to have given up on good animation in the series.

I think your portrayal of Gwen here is what they SHOULD have revamped the art style too. You gave those dead eyes some life! >.<
I agree that she was the only passable character for omniverse... course, she's only in it for like five minutes. I HATE how Kevin looks- he's like a caveman. I find the new style seriously ugly. I think the characters reverted back to being very juvenile, too, which undoes all the work spent character-building in the past two reincarnations of the show. I don't think I'll watch omniverse, myself. I couldn't stand more than half of the first episode.

How did their eyes change from apple green to greakin' grassy green???? Where is Kevin's blue black hair??? Since when did Charmcaster have BLUE eyes?? Last time I checked she had PINK eyes!!

I was very disappointed as a middle schooler when the designs when Ben 10 AF and UA came out. I just didn'y like Gwen, her design and her personality. She had fish lips (while every other girl had normal sized lips and pretty eyes; I believe they used the same base/figure for both Ben and Gwen, no?), too skinny etc.... Kevin and Ben were...passable...
Now that this series is coming out.. I absolutely LOVE & ADORE Gwen's design, she looks like her actual old self (despite the lack of pupil lolz) nd it looks like her attitde is BACK!!
And JUST WHEN I like Gwen.. EVERYONE ELSE IS A FREAKIN MESS!!!! WTF!!

Sweet pic, i love it! I've gotta give probs to you & derek! Derek for the redesign & you for this pic of the redesign! I like the hair flip it reminds me of her classic hair, plus the ponytail, danty freckles & actual lips! Genius! Also i can understand why you don't want to draw Omniverse Kevin! His chin is a little (dare i say it?) Leno size.

I would also like to say that your drawing are incredible! I really love all of them, especially all the Gwenvin ! I really enjoy the couple, and i think all your fanarts make them honour !

I agree... Gwen's new design is Okay. Ben's is horrible, though at least when animated it's okay as long as he is not having that silly smile. Kevin, on the other hand.... gosh, what did they do to him ?

Doesn't look like much Omniverse Gwen but can't say much because they only show a tiny scene of her but to be honest i like the new design of Gwen then the AF/UA by a long shot.
sure most of the fans got used to the AF/UA version but you gotta admit what do they have done next if they have keep the same style? This is my opinion but i felt the sequels where boring and bland, the story arcs where a hit and miss and didn't bring much of an impact or memorable scenes that i would like to remember, i mean the series finale of UA was it even good? too much dragging with many characters where they should have just focus with 1 and not try to add more like Vilgax and Dagon.
Anyway i will try to give the new series a chance, by the looks of the sneak peek it does look more entertaining then the sequels.

gwen is so freaking awesome, I too was thrown off by the new style. BTW do you know if Omniverse is a prequel or sequel series because Ben looked shorter in the clips I've seen.

If you haven't seen the final episode of UA it will show that Omniverse is a sequel to UA, what i heard is that they will tie in all the things the original and the sequels where most fans got confused to why they did that and how.

Kevin's new design literally made wince out of pure sadness. I can't believe what they did to him! I was so happy with his design when Alien Force came out, and I thought it'd be like that for any other installments they made. I'm so depressed.
