Yeeeep, another meme! This one's courtesy of If you're interested, the blank one's here.

I did this one during a break from the other pic I was working on... partially because I wanted to see if it was my tablet acting up or my laptop (after all, if the laptop was gonna randomly shut down or freeze or something, better it be on a meme than on something else!)

As far as the rules went, I decided my Medani characters needed some love, so I stuck a couple of my favorite CDs on a play list and put it on random. I did not, however, try to squeeze a full sketch into the average 3 and a half minutes most of these songs were - instead, I just kept replaying that particular song until I was ready to move on... but I did try to hurry. Some of them, I was working from the feel of the song, and others, a particular line.

Song 1: "3am", Matchbox Twenty. This one, the line "It's 3am, I must be lonely" really stuck out, and Raash and Lady Honnya showed up. She was pretty young when she picked Raash to be her knight (not that he was all that old, either), so he probably got called in after a few nightmares in his time.

Song 2: "It's Not Over," Daughtry. Feeling song... and poor Trev looks like he's getting his tail kicked.

Song 3: "Senorita," Bond. Yaaay, instrumentals... and sounded like something my naga would dance to. Just random naga here, sketched pretty quickly.

Song 4: "Bent," Matchbox Twenty. Song in general just makes me think of someone pushed so far that they're about ready to collapse... and I don't draw Faolan nearly enough.

Song 5: "Ghost of a Rose," Blackmore's Night. Something about the song reminded me of Lady Tannith (Rothey's lady), and like Honnya, she hasn't had a picture yet. So, she got one.

Song 6: "Angry," Matchbox Twenty. Off the line, "And I'm not angry," which just gave me the image of someone gritting their teeth as they try to convince someone else that really, they're NOT angry... and in popped Rothey and Piper. I think this one's my favorite.

Song 7: "Hang," Matchbox Twenty. Rather sad song about leaving, or getting ready to leave... so rather sad pic of Trev reluctantly leaving somewhere.

Song 8: "Time of My Life," David Cook. Really upbeat song about seizing the moment and really living life, which is a big part of naga philosophy. So, Onan got a sketch!

Song 9: "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," C. L. Del Mastro. Instrumental version of the song. Little Lady Honnya first laying eyes on Raash on the streets of Maliev. I know, I know, it's supposed to be a romantic song and all, but Honnya did have at least a little bit of a crush on him (definitely unrequited).

Song 10: "Crash," Daughtry. Pretty intense song, so decided to draw Rain and the Areli who's hunting him.

So, managed to fit a few new characters in there! All Medani characters belong to me, of course. And if you want to kill an hour or two, trying this meme will definitely do it!
