Description
This time I add one more piece to my comics gallery. I decided to draw two characters from the awesome Green Lantern comics from DC. I picked Arisia, the young rookie GL and Ch'p, the much more experienced H'llvenite GL with an attitude xD. I liked both animated movies, First Flight and Emerald Knights, very much, so I was inspired by the comics and the movies for this piece.

I decided to use Arisia and Ch'p's design based mostly in the comics, but I also used some motifs from the movies in their design. Anyway, in the movies they both look very much like in the comics, so I think they came out nicely. And I even added a bit of my own design in Arisia's boots xD. I scaled down the pic a bit, the original is about 20% larger.

I imagined them flying in open space like any GL, coming from completing a mission, with Arisia specially happy about it, since she's stilla rookie GL, and Ch'p, who was sent with her to ensure she wouldnt get into trouble, satisfied by her performance. I tried to not focus the attention in their power rings, so I intentionally drew them a bit hidden, as most GL drawings seem to focus in their rings, all the time.

Well, I think this pic is not my best effort, but I think the result was a very cute picture. I will be adding more GL characters as I like the comics very much, and yeah, I liked the live-action movie too xD. I really want to make a Sinestro pic, or Kilowog, or Stel, Boodikka, etc. there are so many cool characters in GL to draw, so I'll do it soon.

And remember, The Guardians says "Don't steal or Sinestro will have your ass" lol xD
