i knew you'd run to that problem. i know it's not the smartest naming of a game but here.

this is a long play video of the game, you can watch the first cut-scenes to understand why i  said it reminds me of it
it's in japanese. so unless you know japanese, you won't get much. but the cutscene is very clear.
it's a guy who has a dream or a nightmare of a memory were he and his friend were running away from something, he wakes up to a call from his girl, or whatever, fiance maybe.. i don't know what he does or what's his job, but he seems to be a guy who works on a contract to eradicate or get rid of anomalies in the network system ...  but the way he operates is that he has his own futuristic auto vehicle with weapons and it's all activated when he is literally "wired" to it.

i didn't know they made a sequel to it, but here is the longplay of it too.

oh flashback is good and all... but the beautiful pixelated cutscens was download for me. i played it when i was 8 years old. this was the first time i was exposed to this kind of genre, the japanese sci-fi where humans literally connected with wires. games like metal fangs, snatcher..etc.. this is my only sci-fi genre that i like.

and dude! you know the retro games i am speaking of? you are dying breed my good sir. and you have taste too.
