basically did this for my friend ~CrescentLupin9 to illustrate how this method works.

03 - Lines
02 - color -> Layer Properties = mulitiply
01 - value
00 - sketch

As far as i know there are no layer properties in Sai. So you have to start the coloring in Photoshop and then when you'r happy with your color scheme merge layers 02 and 01, save and reopen in sai to finish coloring.

its funny because in one of my classes now we're forced to do everything in values first and then color D:

yeah, it's a common thing. My teacher in perspective said I needed to understand color theory better when I colored something for my homework -.-;;; /sob
