i really love how this came out!
ive always thought these geometric cutouts wete neat, but i never looked at the character references they were based off of.
seeing a character im very familiar with in this style is surprising how recognizable the character is bent into these fun shapes.

I think a part of it is also just finding the right shape for the character. As good as I am about squishing animals into shapes, some characters are only destined for maybe one in particular! I think sal looks good as as diamond
