A quick mini photoshoot and did last Sunday July 25, 2010.

Been doing a lot of strobing and killed too much natural lights lately that I got bored. So I thought of doing something different by blending both natural and artificial lights. It's raining so we can't do it ourdoors so we have to do it inside the mall, but here in the Philippines for some wierd, odd and nonsense reason they won't allow you to have photoshoots inside those malls or near the area. So I have to compose and take shots really fast and I need a model that can give me cool poses when I say "ok go" when there's no guards around the location and there is no one but for the task hahaha.

Deconstruction and Details of the Photo:

Cam Used:Nikon D40 (set to manual mode of course XD)
Lens: 35mm AF-S DX Nikkor f/1.8G
Speedlite: Yongnuo YN 460-II (Manual Mode) with a Diffuser Cap

Check the camera data for the exact settings that I used.

The huge glass window with moist on it filtered the ambient light (which is not too bright and perfect for my current settings under ISO 400 and aperture 1.8) which I used as a main light to light the subject and got the Yongnuo YN460-II with a Diffuser Cap attached to my cam and is set under 1/64 power manual mode aimed at the ceiling not just to bounce off the light but to spread it around the area with the help of the diffuser. I need the lowest aperture as much as possible to emphasize the blurred/depth of field/bokeh in the background. Dutch tilt adds a sweet flavor on shots like this XD it's like putting a cherry on top hehe.
